My name is Bonnie Jansen. I have a B.S. in Information Technology with a specialization in Visual Communication (meaning I went through part of the Graphic Design program and Portfolio Review.)

This is me. I would put up a more professional picture, but this picture lets you see more of who I
really am - creative, musical, passionate, and completely honest with every situation.
I am most passionate about honesty - whether it is looking at a client's web site, talking to a client,
talking to my boss, or other co-workers, I value honesty in opinons and constructive criticism. Because of
this, I feel that both myself and those around me can help push each other to become better designers and
developers than we would on our own, while providing the best possible solution for the client.
I'm currently a programmer at IDMI, and I do some freelancing
on my own outside of work. My passion lies in web and graphic design. I have been creating web sites for myself
and professionally since high school (2003, to be exact). I'm an avid reader of A List Apart, Andy Rutledge, and other
online design magazines.
I like experimenting with various media and trying new ways of doing things - my all-time favorite type is
vexel/vector art. Besides doing things for work and myself, I like to compete in online contests and collaborate
with other artists (mainly vexel artists.) This
portfolio and my deviantart can give you some examples
of what I've done.
In the future, I plan to continue to study music, gardening, gradients, photography, digital painting, image manipulation, the German language, pencil drawing/shading, building a library of inpiring books ... there's never enough time for all I want to accomplish.
